What would your dream American Girl doll look like? What would her name be? What is her story? I just thought this would be a fun post .

Mine would proabably be a victorian doll from like the 1870s. I wouldn't mind a doll like Scarlett O'hara either. Or maybe a Regency doll would be cool. I would want to have a dark, ringlet haired doll with green eyes. Not really sure what I'd name her yet. That usually takes time for me.

I was just pondering what my dream doll would be when I read LittleLottie's post above... and that sounds pretty much on the mark (thanks, btw)!! I'd love a doll with dark ringlets and either light blue or hazel/green eyes, either from the regency period (distinct from Josefina's time though) or the 1920s.
*crosses fingers for this doll starting now*

I'd love a doll with AGT 23 style hair, but red instead of brown, hazelish eyes, and freckles. I'd also love a doll with shoulder length light brown hair, side part, freckles, and hazel eyes. Sort of like 23, but not quite!

My American Girl dream doll would have to have red-red hair, like the PM Felicitys, cut at a medium length, light skin, green (NOT neon!) eyes (or maybe a pretty blue), and freckles. She would be a (hehe!) LE doll, and would wear a modern outfit consisting of sweatpants, a hooded gray sweatshirt with an animal (monkey, frog, puppy, kitten, etc.) on it, over a long-sleeved shirt made with similar material as the white shirt for the AGT Retired Camping outfit (I love that material! LOL!), and some type of sneakers. I love comfy outfits on American Girl dolls! It makes them so cuddly! LOL! I really would love the name Hailey for this particular doll! Maybe she could be some sort of artist. Now I'm really getting into it! LOL!

I love these posts, everyone has such great ideas.
I'd love a Pueblo girl from 1680 (even though I know the chances of a 2nd New Mexican and a 2nd Indian doll are slim). During that time, the visionary Pop? led many Pueblos to revolt against the Spanish- they actually left for a full 10 years. The first successful American revolution. The girl could be involved in it, kind of like Felicity's discovery in Happy Birthday Felicity.
Otherwise, a biracial Indian girl during the early 1920s who was taken to an Indian boarding school and has to wrestle with the conflict between the two cultures. That would be as fun storywise, but still an idea.

Wow...that would be hard! As far as historical goes, I'd like to seen a Jewish or Asian historical girl. Or LE girl of today would be another option for a Jewish or Asian doll, though I would prefer it to be historical. I also think it would be neat to have a civil war era doll that's like a Scarlett O' Hara. We've seen it through a slave girls' eyes, why not a white girl's? Kinda like how Felicity is a Patriot and Elizabeth is a Tory.
As far as AGT's....I'd like to see AG25 with blue eyes and a doll with one blue eye and one brown eye. Hair doesn't matter because I can always rewig...hehehe.
